The Wenchi Municipal Police Command has arrested Krontihene of Badu-Adamu, Nana Kwasi Dapaah in the Tain district for growing about two acres of substance suspected to be marijuana.
The suspect was said to have admitted upon interrogation that the farm belongs to him leading to his arrest.
Municipal Police Commander, ASP Joseph Boakye who disclosed this on Adom News said the case has been transferred to the Regional police headquarters at Sunyani.
He said the suspect is assisting police in further investigation.
“We were given the hint, we investigated and he came out saying it’s his so we arrested him. It’s about 2 acres. We gave him to Sunyani police force…” his maintained.
