Acting editor of Daily Telegraph Bismark Bebli is reported dead after he was hit by a car in front of Kasoa police station in the central region.
According to reports, the accident occurred around 1:15pm Friday after a Toyota commercial vehicle with registration number GE 8252–12 loaded from Kasoa heading towards Awutu Breku failed brakes and ran over the journalist and a policeman.
General Manager at Radio 360, Charles Osei Assibey who was at the scene said the deceased was rushed to Kasoa polyclinic for treatment but died whiles receiving treatment.
The policeman who is said to have sustained minor injuries has been rushed to the Korle Bu Teaching hospital.
The body has been transferred to Korle Bu mortuary for preservation.
