The Global Patriots Germany has extended its best wishes to all aspirants contesting the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) Lower West Akyem Constituency Executive Elections scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026.
In a statement, the group urged delegates, party members and supporters to ensure the elections are conducted in an atmosphere of peace, unity, discipline and mutual respect.
The organisation said a peaceful and transparent process would strengthen the party’s democratic credentials and position it better ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Global Patriots Germany also declared its support for Madam Rebecca Adjei Sarpong, popularly known as Obaatanpa, in her bid for the position of 2nd Vice Chairperson.
“We firmly believe that Madam Rebecca Adjei Sarpong possesses the dedication, experience and grassroots mobilisation capacity required to strengthen the constituency and contribute significantly to the party’s preparations towards reclaiming electoral victory in 2028,” the group stated.
The group further encouraged all candidates and delegates to uphold the values of fairness, tolerance and respect throughout the electoral process.
They therefore appealed to all delegates to give her massive support on election day.
Meanwhile, Rebecca Adjei Sarpong herself has expressed strong confidence that the NPP will reclaim the Lower West Akyem parliamentary seat in 2028.
The seat is currently held by Owen Kwame Frimpong of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who won it in 2024.
Speaking to Adom News, the 2nd Vice Chairperson aspirant said the party is ready for a strong comeback through hard work, unity, and effective grassroots mobilisation.
