The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appealed to the public for information that could help locate the relatives of a Ghanaian national who was found dead in an apartment in Berlin, Germany.
The deceased has been identified as Stephen Kofi Boamah, born on February 8, 1986, in Kumasi, Ghana.
According to the Ministry, Mr Boamah was known within the Ghanaian community in Berlin by the nickname ‘Gully’.
In a public announcement dated September 11, 2026, the Ministry said it was seeking anyone with information about the deceased or his relatives in Ghana to come forward and assist in locating his family.
The Ministry said such information would help it notify the deceased’s relatives and facilitate the necessary arrangements concerning his remains.

The Ministry expressed the hope that the public would assist in tracing Mr Boamah’s family to enable the appropriate arrangements to be made.
