The Greater Accra Regional Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has taken deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen to the cleaners for endorsing the seizure of cars from his party officials.

According to Anthony Nukpenu, he has never taken the NPP national executive serious since he only handles “goats, cassava and plantain cases as a lawyer”.

Nana Obiri Boahen has alleged the cars taken from the residence of NDC National Organizer, Kofi Adams are stolen government vehicles.

He explained that, most of the cars were “stolen from government,” their chassis numbers changed and sold to Kofi Adams.

Nana Obiri Boahen bemoaned how the National Security Minister, Kan Dapaah is handling the matter especially when there is “clear evidence” the cars are stolen.

But Anthony Nukpenu on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Friday took a swipe at the NPP deputy General Secretary for criticizing the Security Minister.

In his view, if even NDC members will disrespect President Akufo-Addo and his appointees, NPP supporters should be seen supporting them in any situation.

The NDC Regional Organizer said “I don’t take Obiri Boahen serious; he has really embarrassed himself and the profession he belong to. He can’t be lawyer if he handles goats and cassava cases”.

“At Fiapre Circuit Court, Chiraa Circuit Court, Brekum High Court where he ply his trade, they only handle goat, sheep and cassava cases. He [Obiri Boahen] has never been a serious lawyer” he stressed.

Anthony Nukpenu who claims he has no government vehicle in his possession said, he will treat anyone who storms his house as an armed robber and deal with him accordingly.

“We have formed our vigilante group because the state is failing to protect us. We are ready for everything” he stated.
