The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has migrated the issuance of B1 (Business) and B2 (Tourist) visas under the Emergency Entry Visa (EEV) schedule from a manual process to an online platform.
The new system took effect on August 3, 2026, with the GIS urging the public to apply for the two visa categories through its Electronic Visa platform.
Applicants can access the e-Visa portal at https://evisa.immigration.gov.gh.
According to the GIS, individuals and corporate entities may apply on behalf of their clients at a standard fee of US$260, payable via credit or debit cards.
The Service said the move forms part of efforts to streamline the visa application process and improve service delivery.
For further enquiries, the public may contact the GIS on 0291513470, 0291513231 or 0256126801.
