The Ghana Football Association have approached Africa Cup of Nations winning Coach Hugo Broos to become the new Coach for the Black Stars, according to a report by TV3.

Broos is said to have been contacted by the Nation’s Football governing body to take up the vacant post.

The Belgian led Cameroon to win their fifth Nations Cup trophy at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon where they defeated Egypt in the finals and was in charge when the Indomitable Lions defeated the Black Stars at the semi-finals.

The Ghana Football Association have already opened applications for the job after a six-member committee was set to headhunt for a new Coach.

Hugo Broos still has a running contract with the Cameroonian FA. The Coach is also reported to be on the radar of South Africa who are seeking to name him as the new trainer for the Bafana Bafana.

Ghana is expected to appoint a new Coach to replace Avram Grant before the World Cup qualifier against Congo in August this year.
