The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has commenced its 2026 enlistment exercise for commissioned officers.
According to a press release issued by the Department of Public Relations at the GAF General Headquarters, the official advertisement for the exercise was published in the Ghanaian Times on Monday, August 31, 2026, and in the Daily Graphic on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
The Armed Forces said vouchers for the online application will be available at designated Ghana Post offices nationwide from Thursday, September 3, 2026.
Each voucher will cost GH¢200.
The online application portal will be activated on Friday, September 4, 2026, and interested applicants are expected to access the portal and complete the application process by Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
The GAF has urged prospective applicants to obtain information about the enlistment exercise only through its official social media platforms or by contacting its designated telephone and WhatsApp numbers.
It provided 0256 405 104 and 0254 405 154 for enquiries and reporting suspected fraudulent activities related to the exercise.
The Armed Forces also cautioned the public against dealing with middlemen or agents, stressing that it does not engage the services of agents and does not charge additional fees for enlistment.
It warned prospective applicants against making payments to individuals who claim to be agents, middlemen or representatives of the Ghana Armed Forces.
