The Vice President of the Ghana Football Association, George Afriyie has announced they will investigate the appearance of Black Stars head coach on British sports television channel SkySports last Thursday afternoon.
The former Chelsea and West Ham manager was seen on the highly patronized Television station discussing the ongoing European league which according to George Afriyie is against the program the coach agreed with FA after the friendly match against South Africa in Durban.
“Avram Grant’s appearance on Sky Sports was a surprise to us all” George Afriyie told Kumasi based Nhyira FM.
“It was not part of the program. He did not have the permission of the FA and I can assure Ghanaians that we are going to investigate him”, George added.
The Black Stars face a 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt in Alexandria and have been drawn in Group D with Mali, Egypt and Uganda in the 2017 Africa Cup Of Nations slated for Gabon.
