Veteran Coach, J.E Sarpong has tasked members of the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA),who are currently in Cape Coast for stakeholders meeting,  to come out with better ideas, policies and programmes that would make the local league much more attractive to sponsors.
Members of the Executive Committee led by FA President, Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi, together with other principal arms of the FA have embarked on a three-day summit which began on Monday at the Ridge Royal Hotel in Cape Coast to deliberate on key decisions for the well-being of the game.
However, the outspoken coach in an interview with Graphic Sports challenged  the GFA saying “they should come out with realistic measures that would address the problems undermining the meaningful development of Ghana football”.
“The meeting has come at the right time  so they should come out with better ideas, policies and programmes that would make the league much more attractive to sponsors” .
Key stakeholders who were invited to partake in the summit were representatives of the Women’s League Board, Premier League Board, FA Cup Committee, Division One League, Referees Association of Ghana (RAG) and the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) and the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA).
