Justin Frimpong Kodua is leading the race for the position of General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), according to a poll conducted by Global InfoAnalytics.
The poll puts Mr Frimpong Kodua at 44.6%, giving him a significant lead over the other contenders.
A further 32.7% of respondents remain undecided, while 11.2% declined to disclose their preferred candidate.
Former Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfrom Member of Parliament, Sylvester Tetteh, follows with 7.6%.
Eugene Antwi records 2.2%, while Charles Dwamena has 1.7%.
The figures give Mr Frimpong Kodua a substantial lead, although the high proportion of undecided respondents suggests the race could still change as the NPP’s internal elections approach.
