The National Circles Council chairman of Asante Kotoko, Mr. Kwaku Amponsah, has asked for support to champion “operation fill the stadium” on Sunday.
Kwaku Amponsah, known in football circles as Chairman K5, said it is a long time Kotoko participated in an African competition and therefore need to make the most of it.
In view of that, he says the supporters’ leadership will be giving out over 500 tickets to on lookers who cannot afford to buy tickets but are willing to watch the game.
“Playing in the Confederations cup will not be easy so we need everyone on board to win emphatically at home; we have tickets to give out at the entrance of the stadium and through radio stations”, he explained.
“I am sure of victory because we have camped the players for a long time and they are gelling; this always works for the club anytime we do it. It gave us results against Hearts in the MTN FA Cup final and it will work on Sunday”, he said.
“More so, our preseason games were to fine-tune our players so we cannot judge them with the performance”, the former Kotoko management member concluded.
