Former Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, has praised former Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) Executive Director, COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, for what he described as her professional approach to the job.
In a Facebook post, Mr Nkansah said COP Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, who served as EOCO Executive Director from January 2022 to March 2025, carried out her duties without engaging in what he described as unnecessary drama.
He contrasted her tenure with the current leadership of the anti-corruption agency, accusing its head of engaging in excessive publicity without corresponding successful prosecutions.
“She worked professionally without indulging in any useless drama. Not that guy who has been doing 100% drama with no successful prosecution,” he wrote.
Mr Nkansah’s comments come amid renewed public discussions about EOCO’s handling of high-profile investigations and prosecutions.
