Months after a fire ravaged parts of his food business, Ghanaian hiplife legend Reggie Rockstone has suffered another tragedy after Monday’s torrential rains left his residence severely flooded.
The veteran musician shared videos on social media showing floodwaters engulfing his residence, with the rising water submerging several of his luxury vehicles parked within the compound.
The footage also captured the extent of the flooding in his neighbourhood, where roads and surrounding properties were completely inundated, leaving residents stranded.
In the videos, floodwaters could be seen covering much of the compound, making it impossible for vehicles to move in or out of the area as the rains continued.
Monday’s torrential rains triggered widespread flooding across parts of Accra, leaving several communities submerged, displacing residents, and causing extensive damage to homes, businesses and vehicles.
Reggie Rockstone’s ordeal has since drawn sympathy from fans and social media users, many of whom expressed relief that no casualties were reported while wishing him and his family strength as they recover from yet another disaster.
