A fire outbreak has destroyed two metal containers used for commercial activities at Baifikrom in Mankessim in the Central Region.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday when the blaze engulfed the containers and threatened to spread to nearby properties.
Responders arrived to find the fire well-developed, with flames rapidly consuming the structures and their contents.
Items destroyed in the fire included car seats, foams, office chairs, and a television set, in addition to the two containers.
Despite the intensity of the fire, efforts to contain it prevented further destruction, with two additional metal containers salvaged from the blaze.
No casualties were recorded.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established, with investigations currently ongoing.
