The Attorney Generals Department is being accused of the needless delays in the prosecution of corruption cases in the country.
According to reports, cases sent to the department for advice are either abandoned or deliberately delayed for the culprits to get off the hook.
On Adom FM’s morning show corruption segment, Fabewoso, Captain Smart cited how successive Attorney Generals have failed to prosecute their own party people found culpable.
To make the issue murkier, key government officials in the Akufo-Addo led administration are begging for appointees in the Mahama-led administration not to be prosecuted.
Captain Smart vowed to lead a massive demonstration against Attorney General should the situation persist.
