The management team of Ghanaian singer Efya has clarified viral reports regarding her alleged marriage to Nigerian singer Tomi Thomas in a private ceremony held in Accra on Valentine’s Day.
The event reportedly took place on February 14, 2026, at a residence in Trassaco Phase II.
However, speaking exclusively to Adom FM, the management team explained that it was a private knocking ceremony attended by close friends and family, not a wedding.
According to them, a party was held afterwards, and videos from that session later went viral on social media.
“The whole thing was not supposed to come out. So, I am wondering why someone would share the videos. Do you know how many people do knocking and nothing happens after? So why would people call it marriage? Because the family is not done, there will even be pressure,” they stated.
