The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) Limited has announced plans to embark on a nationwide revenue mobilisation exercise.
In a statement, ECG said the exercise will begin on Monday, June 16, and run through to Friday, June 27, 2025.
It will target all categories of customers in arrears and will include inspections of prepaid meters to verify their integrity.
ECG has, therefore, advised all customers who owe the company to settle their bills promptly to avoid disconnection and the payment of reconnection fees.
The company further warned that self-reconnection after disconnection constitutes a criminal offence and will attract legal consequences.
