The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a power outage affecting several communities in the Tema Region following a fault on its distribution network.
In a statement issued on Monday, August 3, 2026, the power distributor said the outage has affected residents and businesses in Q-Farms, Jordan City, Santor, Aunty Araba, Agbeshie Laryea, Nelplast, Kubekro, Katamanso, Level 400 and nearby communities.
According to ECG, its engineers are on the ground working to identify the source of the fault and carry out the necessary repairs to restore electricity supply as quickly as possible.

The company apologised to customers for the inconvenience caused and thanked residents in the affected communities for their patience and understanding while repair works continue.
