The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced an emergency power outage in parts of the Accra East Region on Sunday, 30th August 2026.
The outage, which will run from 9:00am to 5:00pm, is to allow engineers to work on a fault and improve service delivery.
According to a notice from ECG areas to be affected include parts of Trassaco, Saso, Sidalco, Signature Apartments, Cassa Trassaco, Action Chapel, the Bank of Ghana warehouse, Tip Toe Lane, Odo Rice, parts of Carprice and surrounding communities.
ECG apologised for the inconvenience the exercise would cause customers in the affected areas.
