Dr. Abu Sakara Foster, a former presidential candidate of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), has been enskined as the Kakulasewura of the Mankuma Traditional Area in the Savannah Region.
The respected agriculturist, politician, and entrepreneur ascended to the throne following the passing of the previous chief a few months ago.
The colourful enskinment ceremony, held in line with Gonja traditions and customs, saw the arrival of warriors, linguists, royals, family members, and friends who gathered at Mankuma in the Bole District to witness the occasion.
Several politicians were also present to join in the celebration as Dr. Sakara Foster took his new role as chief.
The enskinment has been welcomed by many, with residents expressing pride in having a well-known development-oriented personality as their new leader.
