Congratulations are in order for music duo, Dope Nation, after emerging the only Ghanaians to win an award at the just-ended 2020 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival held in Nigeria.
They swept the Best Duo category awards against Blaq Diamond of South Africa, Ethic from Kenya, Black Motion,South Africa, Dem Camp from Nigeria and Toofan representing Togo.

Ghana, which had about seven nominations including the likes of Shatta Wale, Wendy Shay, Medikal, Dope Nation only managed to bring one award home.
The award scheme, which is one of the most prestigious awards in Africa, saw Burna Boy honored with the most awards on the night.
The Soundcity MVP Awards Festival is an event which seeks to recognize deserving musicians and performers across Africa while honouring them with plagues for their efforts.
