The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Dome Kwabenya Constituency, in the Greater Accra region, Sarah Adwoa Safo has asked Ghanaians not to abandon the National Sanitation Day.
She is of the view that, sanitation must be sustained to keep the environment clean.
Adwoa Safo made the call when she joined residents in her constituency to clean the area as part of the National Sanitation Day over the weekend.
She encouraged the citizens to participate in the exercise to make it a success.
Meanwhile, the Ga East Municipal Chief Executive, Janet Tulasi Mensah said her outfit would ensure that people who did not participate in the cleaning exercise face the full rigorous of the law.

  1. Sanitation Day is the lazy man’s favorite language.
    That is the job for 1000s of our citizens to make their lives easier and better.
    Give the citizens the opportunity to work and get paid for the good work they do or get sanctioned if they don’t do it well enough.
    Where in civilization would citizens be made to clean up their environment ones in the month and expect to have a neat environment?
    If Ghana can change the bribery and corruption in the sector, the filth problem will soon be forgotten as if they never existed in our country Ghana .
