Rapper Sarkodie has taken time off his schedule to explain why he couldn’t stage a performance last night at American rapper Cardi B’s concert.
Cardi B was the main headline act for Livespot X Festival scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium.
Some Ghanaian stars, who were equally billed to perform alongside her such as Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Medikal, and Joey B, among others, couldn’t make it to the podium.
Replying a fan who said he bought the ticket to catch a glimpse of just his performance, Sarkodie said:

“Very Sorry… definitely not my fault… More info will be given… but you know I wouldn’t intentionally not perform, see y’all at #rapperholic2019.”
Meanwhile, talks on social media suggest fans, who turned up at the concert, were disappointed with regards to their expectations as many of the artistes failed to perform.
The earlier brouhaha of Cardi B snubbing some Ghanaian female celebs who wanted to familiarise with her went viral and it was unclear if that was what led to most of the stars not coming out to perform on the night.
