Artiste Manager, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson aka Bulldog has opened up on his role in the ‘Stonebwoy-Zylofon’ altercations.
Chaos broke and gunshots were fired last Saturday at the Paloma Hotel in Accra as Bulldog was alleged to have attacked Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy and his crew who were holding a mini concert at the hotel.
According to reports, Bulldog and Zylofon’s Transport Manager, Mr Eric Amponsah attempted to forcefully recover a Zylofon-branded car being used by Stonebwoy hence the confusion.

According to Bulldog, the reason he visited the Champs bar was to recover one branded car from Stonebwoy’s team and after depart from the venue.
Narrating the incidents that led to the confusion, Bulldog said he stormed the bar with Zylofon’s Transport Manager but to his utter surprise, Stonebwoy’s manager, Cedi cracked a bottle after he realized their presence.
Bulldog also says he wasn’t present when Stonebwoy allegedly gave warning shots hence he couldn’t fathom why some people will report otherwise.

Below is transcription of Bulldog’s account on Accra-based Zylofon Radio:
“I can’t speak for the transport manager. My job was to introduce the transport manager to them and leave. I don’t have a personal problem with Cedi. We have been speaking the whole night. He calls me King and I call him boss. There is nothing wrong if I said they should pick him up. I never said that. It is not my duty to pick up the car. My duty was to identify the car. Cedi is not a thief, I cannot say that.
Cedi hit his hand on the table. No one touched anyone. I was the one assaulted. There was this guy in the singlet from their team pushing and warning me to go back. I walked away. When I left the scene I realized my transport manager had fled.

We all met at the car park. Cedi is not my enemy. There was some friction between us and Stonebwoy’s office. I will not go into that now.
Stonebwoy never saw me. He would have if Cedi allowed me.  I didn’t see him. I can’t say I know for a fact why he fired a gun. We had left the scene. Stonebwoy is still my artiste. I won’t ambush him. All the rant wasn’t really necessary.
If there was any physical movement, it was Cedi breaking bottles and his guy pushing me to leave the place. The rest that happened I wasn’t there. I had left the scene.
Later I received a call from someone claiming he will kill me. He is called Chief Abiola. I told my wife about it.
I hope we resolve this amicably. He is my artiste and I love his music. From my official desk I want him to stay. So we can take on the world. That is the idea…” he said.
