The Black Queens will continue their preparations for the 2026 TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) with an international friendly against Côte d’Ivoire on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

The match will be played at the Stade Père Jégo in Casablanca, Morocco, with kick-off scheduled for 17:00 GMT.

The encounter will be held behind closed doors as both nations step up their final preparations for the continental tournament.

The friendly provides Ghana head coach Kim Lars Björkegren with another valuable opportunity to assess his squad, strengthen team chemistry and fine-tune his tactical approach ahead of the competition.

The Black Queens have already begun an intensive training camp in Morocco as they build momentum for the tournament, and the clash against their West African rivals is expected to provide a stern test of the team’s readiness.

Ghana have been drawn in Group D of the 2026 WAFCON alongside Cameroon, Mali and Cape Verde.

The Black Queens will be aiming for a strong group-stage campaign as they seek to secure a place in the knockout stage.
