Bibiani Gold Stars have set their sights on winning the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League title, with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Akwasi Adu declaring the club’s determination to emerge champions.
The new Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to run from September 4–7, 2026, to May 28–31, 2027, with Gold Stars opening their campaign away to Bechem United.
The Bibiani-based side narrowly missed out on last season’s league title, which was won by Medeama SC, and are determined to go one better this season.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, Akwasi Adu said winning the league remains the club’s top priority.
“Our target is to win the league title this season. We came close last season, but we believe we have learned from that experience and are determined to finish as champions,” he said.
He expressed confidence in the team’s preparations and urged the players to remain focused and consistent throughout the campaign.

“Our target is to win the Ghana Premier League title this season,” he said.
Bibiani Gold Stars know what it takes to be champions, having lifted the Ghana Premier League trophy two seasons ago under the guidance of head coach Frimpong Manso.
With preparations for the 2026/27 season underway, the club is determined to build on that success and mount another strong challenge for the league title after narrowly missing out last season.
