Ghanaian songstress, Becca has addressed claims of her bleaching during an exclusive interview on Hitz FM‘s Daybreak Hitz show.
Reacting to the speculations, Becca humorously retorted, “Oh, Doreen! Stop it, can’t you see I am white?” before delving into the details of the swirling rumours.
She clarified that, the perceived change in her skin tone in her photos is because she uses Snapchat filter.
“It’s a filter. It’s content, and you should expect that. Once I put it out there, there was nothing I was going to do about it. I am not going to change it because of people” Becca stressed.
As a celebrity, Becca said she has decided not to pay attention to public opinion.
“I have matured, and I have grown so much in the industry. When you say not bothered, it doesn’t mean you don’t listen to people’s opinions. I respect opinions as long as you stay in your house, and you don’t come to physically attack me, we don’t have a problem,” she told Doreen Avio.
