Dancehall star Stonebwoy has subtly reacted to his ongoing cyberbullying case involving Shatta Movement fan Webkid, who was recently granted bail.

Webkid, a die-hard supporter of Shatta Wale, was arrested earlier in May 2026 over alleged cyberbullying and publication of false news, and has spent over a month in custody before being granted bail of GH¢100,000 with two sureties by the Accra High Court.

The case has since drawn widespread attention within entertainment circles, especially after reports of strong emotional reactions from his family and public support from sections of the Shatta Movement.

Amid the growing conversation, Stonebwoy took to social media with a cautionary message that appeared to address the situation indirectly.

He advised young people, particularly his fans, to stay safe and free, and avoid actions that could land them in legal trouble.

He further emphasized that being granted bail does not equate to freedom, noting that it is only a temporary release while legal proceedings continue.

“Even if they grant you bail, your matter still dey court,” he said, as he awaits a final judgement.

His remarks come as Webkid’s legal team continues to process documentation for his release, with proceedings in the case still ongoing at the Accra High Court.
