The fire outbreak at Avenor in Accra has intensified, with the flames now spreading into the Duraplast factory.
The fire, which started in the early hours of today, has been burning for several hours and continues to spread despite efforts by the Ghana National Fire Service to bring it under control.
Firefighters are facing difficulties containing the blaze, while security presence in the area has also been increased as authorities work to prevent further spread.
The situation remains active, with no immediate sign of the fire being brought under control.
