Former acting Director of Communications for the ruling New Patriotic Party, Yaw Adomako Baafi has descended heavily on the Leader and Founder of Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi over his derogatory remarks.
He questioned the relevance of the research conducted by prophet Kobi to society.
“This man of God is really a disgrace to the profession. What annoys me is the fact that he said he conducted a research to come out with such so-called findings.

“Which professor went through his research? Even some of us who have been moving up and down on university campus to have our research approved by professors, we are even silent.He is just funny,” he told Accra based Okay FM, monitored by Adomonline.com.
Prophet Kobi, in a video gone viral, said women, who hail from the Ashanti region, are greedy, materialistic and disrespectful. He said Ewe women are doormats and Fante women are fools.

He advised suitors not to import problems for themselves by marrying women from the Ashanti region.

Sharing his views on the ethnocentric comments, Mr Baafi said any careless utterance that divides and discriminates, especially, against women belonging to certain ethnic groups, as seen in the recent video, is unfortunate and must be roundly condemned.
