The Techiman Youth Association in the Brong Ahafo Region on Monday morning embarked on a demonstration to register their anger against ‘fake’ fetish priests in the area.
According to the youth, the spiritualists have been engaging in money rituals, popularly known as Sakawa, for people by using human beings for sacrifices.

Determined to teach them a lesson, the angry residents, mainly the youth have decided to demonstrate on the streets to register their displeasure.
Chairman of the Association, Kwadwo Adjei, told Adom News’ Koofori Bossu Denkye in Techiman that the alleged priests and Mallams and internet fraudsters allegedly amass wealth using innocent human beings, a situation which has become a very big challenge to the people in the municipality.

Mr. Adjei bemoaned the fact that the alleged fraudsters reside in areas where it is difficult to identify their corrupt and deceitful acts.
“They defraud people with their little supernatural powers and threaten them with madness and death when they ever disclose it to anybody. The youth in the Techiman municipality would never sit and watch their people suffer losses from these money “doublers” and malams hence they have planned to get rid of them”, added.
