Residents of Ejura in the Ashanti Region have been left in shock after a man’s hand was chopped off in a forest reserve near the town.
Members of a prayer group reportedly found the blood-stained severed hand from the wrist and alerted police who later traced the victim, 25-year-old Buba Omar, to a local hospital.

Speculations are rife that he could be a member of a robbery gang who may have been attacked by his colleagues in disagreement over the sharing of a booty.
But the Ejura Municipal Commander, Chief Superintendent Richardson Kumeko who confirmed the incident to Nhyira News said investigations are yet to establish that.
