Outspoken Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has called for the resignation of the CID boss, Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah.
Speaking on Accra-based Net 2 TV, the outspoken lawmaker said Madam Tiwaa courted controversy when she said at a press conference some months ago that the Police knew the whereabouts of the girls, a statement My Agyapong believes was based on false information received from the suspect.

According to him, the leadership of the Ghana Police and by extension the entire service is incompetent, saying the latest development does not surprise him.
Mr Agyapong was reacting to the news of police confirmation of the death of the four kidnapped girls from Takoradi.

Ghana police are bogus, they are so corrupt. People are calling for the resignation of Tiwaa; fire her! They are all incompetent, whether they are sabotaging her or not, the MP charged.
Tiwaa wanted to sacrifice me for Anas. She’s fired, and we’ll say it till she is fired. A whole CID Boss comes out publicly to declare knowledge of the whereabouts of the girls and you come back to say you wanted the family to be relaxed, he asked.

Many Ghanaians have called for the CID Boss to be fired since news of the confirmation of the girls’ death broke because the CID boss had publicly given the family assurances of they returning safely.
