Two farmers from Assin Kushea in the Assin North municipality of the Central region are  in the grips of Assin Fosu police for stealing.

The two, Kwadwo Antwi, 34 and Kwabena Amoako, 35 were arrested for stealing two geese from a zoo in Assin Kushea which belongs to Ehunabobrim Pra Agyensem VI, Paramount Chief of Owirenkyiman Traditional Area.

The Assin Fosu District Police Commander, ASP Magnus Rendorf Sam, who spoke to Adom News’s Alfred Amoh, said the two farmers maneuvered their ways into the Zoo and allegedly stole the birds at the blind side of the security men in charge.

The suspects have confirmed to the police that the birds have already been consumed and for that matter, the two would be arraigned before court.
