Commander of a pro-New Patriotic Party vigilante group Delta Force, Salao Deen has accused the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketia of being the brain behind the party’s vigilante group, ‘The hawks’.
He also mentioned former Ashanti Regional Deputy Minister, Joseph Yamin and some unnamed NYC gurus of being sponsors of the group.

According to Deen who claims to have friends within the Hawks, the prime objective of the group was to counter the NPP’s vigilante groups.
“When NDC heard that we have formed Delta Force, they also formed the Hawks. Asiedu Nketia, Joseph Yamin and one other NDC Chairman are behind the formation of the group; we know them because they are our friends,” he told Adom FM Dwaso Nsem host, Captain Smart on Wednesday.

He indicated that Delta Force will peacefully co-exist with the Hawks if only they do not perpetuate any form of violence.
“If they meet us with peace, we will do same, ” he warned.

The Hawks are heavily-built men who were T-shirts with the ‘The Hawks’ boldly written at their backs are visible at NDC activities including “Unity Walks”..
