Some unit committee members of Assin Dompim have expressed worry about the illegal operation of a newly emerged group “Satan Boys” in the community.

According to Seth Siaw, a member of the Unit committee, the Satan Boys have been stealing goat, fowls, cooking pots and other utensils which is currently creating tension in the community.

He said the Satan Boys usually use the stolen goats for food at a base in the bush while the cooking pots and utensils are sold cheaply as scrap for money.

He said another illegal area the group operates has to do with Mobile money fraud.

“They very smart and good at stealing to the extent that if care is not taken, by the time you realize your lifetime investment is gone” he added.

The committee member who is not pleased with the activities of the group said, they will face them squarely to push them away from the community.

Meanwhile, the unit committee chairman of the the area, Patrick Nyarko also added that, although the Satan Boys are very dangerous, they will use all possible means to drive them away from the community.
