The Ashanti Regional Secretariat of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has released the provisional results of the party’s constituency executive elections held across the region on Saturday, July 11.

The elections were organised to elect constituency officers who will serve for the 2026–2030 term.

The provisional results outline the prospective winners for various constituency executive positions, including First Vice Chairman, Second Vice Chairman, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Treasurer, Organiser, Women’s Organiser, Youth Organiser, Coordinator and Communications Officer.

The exercise forms part of the NPP’s ongoing internal reorganisation aimed at strengthening its constituency structures ahead of the 2028 general elections.

According to the Regional Secretariat, the publication of the provisional results represents another step in the party’s internal electoral process as it works to consolidate its grassroots organisation across the country.

The Ashanti Region, considered the NPP’s electoral stronghold, has 47 constituencies and remains one of the party’s most important regions for mobilisation and political activities.

The newly elected constituency executives are expected to lead party activities at the grassroots level over the next four years, including membership mobilisation, election preparation, communication and organisational development.
