Asante Kotoko have signed Cameroonian forward Solomon Nsoh Asaah on a two-year contract ahead of the 2026-27 Ghana Premier League season.

The 21-year-old completed the move after passing his medical examination and joins the Porcupine Warriors from Cameroonian club As Fortuna.

Nsoh enjoyed an impressive spell at As Fortuna, scoring nine goals and providing three assists in 17 appearances, a run of form that earned him recognition at international level.

He has represented Cameroon’s Under-20 side and was recently called up to the country’s Under-23 squad.

Although primarily a centre-forward, Nsoh can also play on either wing, giving Kotoko additional attacking options ahead of the new campaign.

Speaking after completing the move, Nsoh described the transfer as an important milestone in his career.

“This is an important step in my career as I am still young. However, age is irrelevant if one is capable. The coach has a plan regarding our playing style and I believe I have adapted well and am ready for the season.”

Nsoh will wear the number 23 shirt during the 2026-27 season.

Kotoko will begin their Ghana Premier League campaign away to newly promoted Debibi United as they seek to mount a strong challenge for domestic honours under head coach Eric Tinkler.
