The ghastly accident on the Amasaman-Nsawam portion of the N6 highway claimed the life of a young midwife.
According to reports, Francisca Asamaniwa Quansah was killed in the accident few hours to her birthday.
She was part of seven people who died when a truck ran over a commercial bus (trotro) on the highway.
Only three passengers in the trotro reportedly survived the accident which occurred on Monday, February 5, 2024.
Due to the ongoing reconstruction of the Pokuase-Nsawam portion of the N6 highway, the trotro driver slowed down at a portion of the road due to a pothole.
However, the speeding truck behind the commercial vehicle lost control and run over the vehicle.
Her distraught friends took to Facebook to mourn the sudden passing of Francisca Asamaniwa Quansah.
Many of her colleagues, friends, and other people who knew her have been left heartbroken.
