Adom TV, in collaboration with the Buz Stop Boys, joined residents and volunteers on Friday for a major clean-up exercise at Tip Toe Lane as part of the two-day National Clean-up Exercise declared by President John Dramani Mahama.
The exercise forms part of the nationwide campaign to restore cleanliness in communities, improve environmental sanitation and support post-flood recovery efforts following the recent flooding in parts of the country.
Various Adom TV presenters actively participated in the exercise, joining members of the Buz Stop Boys, residents and volunteers to desilt choked drains, sweep streets, collect refuse and clear debris from the area as part of efforts to improve sanitation and reduce the risk of flooding.
Their participation underscored Adom TV’s commitment to promoting environmental sanitation and inspiring communities to embrace shared responsibility in keeping their surroundings clean.
The two-day National Clean-up Exercise is being observed across the country, bringing together government institutions, private organisations, civil society organisations, volunteer groups and community members to improve sanitation, clear drains and help prevent future flooding.
