Veteran highlife musician Joseph Amoah, widely known as Adane Best, is cooking something big in the studio, and Shatta Wale could be part of the recipe.
The highlife icon revealed in an interview on Joy Prime that he is working on a new music project and is actively considering a collaboration with dancehall heavyweight Shatta Wale.
Describing Shatta Wale as a special personality in the industry, Adane Best said he shares a friendly relationship with Shatta and holds him in high regard.
The legend added that Shatta Wale remains someone he connects with on a musical level as he appreciates his level of creativity.
Although he is yet to formally reach out, he hinted that the idea is firmly on his radar while he continues crafting songs in the studio.
He explained that the plan is to complete the project first before deciding which track best suits Shatta Wale’s signature vibe.
If the collaboration happens, it would mark a vibrant fusion between highlife and dancehall, a blend fans are already beginning to look forward to.
