A woman, identified as Martha Kakari Asiamah, has been left with permanent scars after her jealous lover doused her with acid.
Madam Asiamah said her lover committed the heinous crime because she requested for a breakup and refused to have a blood covenant with him.
According to her, her lover’s obsession was quite flattering during the early stages of their relationship, but when he became extremely jealous and possessive, she knew it was time to back out.
She told host Kwaku Manu during ‘Aggressive Interview’ that she saw signs of danger when her lover threatened to harm her just for speaking to his male friends.
But based on the love they shared, she said she brushed that thought off, until he indeed put his threat into operation by dousing her with acid.
On the fateful night her life changed forever, she said she was checking out her antenna after her television went off abruptly when she felt she was being watched.
Before she could switch on her torch, the liquid was splashed all over her and her skin began to melt.
She was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment, after which she uderwent treatment for nine months.
At that time, she said she least suspected her lover as the culprit until text messages pointing to the crime were discovered on his phone during police investigations.
In an unfortunate twist, her lover escaped the grips of police and is still on the run.
