Acting General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is warning of punitive measures against any member who invokes curses on the party.
According to him, such barbaric acts do not only affect work in the party but also bring the name of a democratic NPP into disrepute.
The polling station and constituency elections of the ruling party have been characterized by violence with some of the aggrieved members invoking dreaded deities on national executives.

 They believe the party hierarchy has not been fair to them thus the only way to find respite is by spiritual means.

But John Boadu on Adom FM’s morning show Dwaso Nsem Monday expressed disgust at such conducts.
He indicated that henceforth, any party member who does not exhaust internal party dispute resolution mechanisms and rather invoke curses on executives will be punished.
“We are not going to entertain this kind of behavior in our party. What is the meaning of that!! Their conduct is in violation of Article 3 of the NPP Constitution which talks about the duties of a member” he opined.
John Boadu who is also the NPP National Organizer wondered why people will involve spirituality in a mere internal elections.
He added that, the party leadership has resolved to deal ruthlessly with any member who repeats such outmoded conduct.
