Communications Minister and Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma West, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has called for enforcement of road traffic regulations to reduce the regularity of road accidents in the Ghana.
Ursula was commenting on the death of dancehall musician Priscilla Opuku Kwarteng popularly called Ebony at her one week memorial service following her death through a fatal accident which occurred on Thursday, 8th February at Mankranso on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway.

The MP expressed worry over the rising number of deaths recorded through road accident, describing them as unfortunate and unacceptable.
Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Catherine Afeku was also at the event
“I’m very sad at the demise of a young woman like Ebony, especially when she died through road accident. This is the time to call for enforcement for traffic regulations to reduce road accidents. We also need to be vigilant and wear our seat belts regularly to reduce fatalities through accidents”, she asked.
