The family of the late Dr Isaac Bampoe Addo and his twin brother, Sidney Nii Oko Akuetteh Bampoe Addo, has announced arrangements for their final funeral rites.
Dr Isaac Bampoe Addo, former Executive Secretary of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG), died on August 21, 2026, while his twin brother, Sidney Nii Oko Bampoe Addo, passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 59.
The two were biological brothers of Deputy Chief of Staff Nana Oye Bampoe Addo.
According to the funeral arrangements, the burial service for Sidney Nii Oko Akuetteh Bampoe Addo and Dr Isaac Bampoe Addo will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
Filing past is scheduled for 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., followed by the burial service from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
The final funeral rites will also be held at the forecourt of the State House on Saturday, from noon to 5:00 p.m. The prescribed dress code for the occasion is white and black.
A thanksgiving service will be held on Sunday, November 8, at Winners Chapel in the North Industrial Area at 9:00 a.m.
This will be followed by a thanksgiving reception at Accra Academy in Bubuashie at noon, with mourners expected to wear white.
The family has invited sympathisers to join them in honouring the lives of the deceased.
