A fire has destroyed stalls and goods at Tafo Moro Market, a major second-hand shoe trading centre in the Old Tafo Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The blaze has disrupted trading as traders assess their losses and clearing debris from their burnt stalls. When Citi News visited the market, some of them were trying to save what they could from the remains.
The fire comes days after two other fire outbreaks in Kumasi, adding to the losses traders in the city have suffered.
The affected traders are appealing to the government and the relevant authorities for help to recover their losses and get back to work.
