The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has contained a fire outbreak at a commercial facility near the Tse Addo roundabout in Accra, preventing the blaze from spreading to neighbouring shops.
According to the update issued by the Public Relations Officer of the GNFS in the Greater Accra Region on Sunday, October 11, 2026, the incident occurred on Saturday, October 10, 2026, and was handled by personnel from the Trade Fair Fire Station.

Although the fire partially destroyed a motorbike and quantities of brake pads, engine oil and car tyres, firefighters managed to protect nearby stores from being affected.

The GNFS confirmed that no casualties were recorded in the incident.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, with investigations underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the outbreak.
