Aduana FC head coach Samuel Boadu has been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) over his conduct during his side’s 2-0 victory over Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League.
The GFA says Boadu has been charged with breaching Article 34(6)(a) of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2025.
The charge stems from alleged improper and provocative gestures made by the coach towards sections of the Asante Kotoko supporters during the Matchday Four encounter at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Boadu was seen reacting towards the home fans after Aduana secured a convincing away victory, prompting the GFA’s disciplinary authorities to open a case against him.
The coach has been formally notified of the charge and has until Wednesday, 30 September 2026, to submit his response.
The disciplinary case comes after Boadu guided Aduana to one of their most significant results of the season.
The Fire Club claimed a 2-0 victory over Kotoko to record their first league win against the Porcupine Warriors since 2021.
Stephen Amankona opened the scoring after capitalising on an error from Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim.
Seidu Saana then completed the victory with a late counter-attacking finish as Aduana secured all three points in Kumasi.
The result lifted Aduana to seven points from their opening four matches of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season, while Kotoko suffered their first defeat of the campaign.
