NDC Deputy National Youth Organizer and Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Osman Ayariga, has led a team from the party’s headquarters to vet aspirants seeking various constituency-level positions in the Central Region.
The vetting exercise was conducted over the weekend as part of preparations for the National Democratic Congress’ constituency-level organisational processes.
In a Facebook post on Monday, September 28, Mr Ayariga said the exercise provided an opportunity for the party to assess individuals who had picked forms to contest various constituency portfolios across the region.
He congratulated all the aspirants who had expressed interest in serving the party at the constituency level.
Mr Ayariga said the large number of young people seeking to contest the various positions demonstrated what he described as the NDC’s attractiveness to Ghanaian youth.
“The thousands of youth aspiring for various positions in the NDC clearly shows the party is truly attractive to the youth of Ghana,” he said.
He also congratulated all those who had picked forms and wished them well as the party continues with its internal organisational processes.
